Arrow Freight Corporation (AFC) was founded in 1962 and is principally engaged in providing logistics services to the supply-chain requirements of various industries in the Philippines. AFC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Benguet Management Corporation (BMC), which in turn is 100% owned by Benguet Corporation.

AFC's main office and terminal are situated on a 1.4-hectare lot located at Bgy. Veinte Reales, Valenzuela City beside the Plastic City Industrial Park. The terminal has 1,200 sq.m. of covered warehouses and 3,000 sq.m. of open and guarded storage space.  AFC maintains a branch in Quezon City that serve as sub-terminal and marketing office.

Scope of Services

As a logistics company, AFC presently offers warehouse management and distribution, cargo storage, consolidation and freight services.

Warehouse Management

AFC offers complete warehouse packages that include the supply of warehouse facilities, manpower, handling equipment, computer system including a state-of-the-art warehouse management software Exceed 1000.  This software gives AFC's valued clients the leading edge in information and operations management of warehouses and distribution centers. It enables AFC to excel in order management, receiving, put-away, stocking, replenishment, allocation, picking, shipping and inventory management among others.

AFC played major role in the management of the supply chain of Ginebra San Miguel, Inc., a subsidiary of the food giant San Miguel Corporation.  AFC also managed the warehouses of Bataan Polyethylene Corporation and Unilever, Philippines.  In October 2005,  AFC received the National Product Quality Excellence Award, Consumer today Magazine and the National Council for Product and Serviced Quality.

Freight Services

AFC maintains a fleet of 54 trucks consisting of various configurations as follows: 9 units 4-w ELF, 21 units 6-w ELF, 6 units of  6-w Forward, 10 units of 10-w Wing Van and 8 units 10-w Flat Bed.  During peak seasons, the company's fleet is complimented by pre-qualified and fully controlled sub-haulers.  Behind the wheels of AFC trucks are some of the country's most experienced drivers, trained from many years of driving experience in almost all kinds of terrain.

Other Services

AFC also does cargo consolidation of Philex Mining Corporation.  Suppliers deliver all their materials and supplies to AFC's Valenzuela terminal.  AFC receives, stores, consolidates and dispatches the cargoes upon notification by Philex

Certification to ISO 9001:2000

AFC has successfully established and maintained a quality management system compliant with the ISO 9001:2000 international standard.  This certification was issued to AFC by SGS Philippines, Inc. in May 2003.  AFC carries SGS Certification No. PHQM03/0094.
